In August 2025, Xin Tianwai Green Package Printing Co., Ltd. successfully introduced a Heidelberg Speedmaster CX104 10-color sheetfed offset printing press, valued at over 25 million RMB and equipped with double coating and double intermediate dryer units. Following precise installation and commissioning, the equipment has officially entered production. This strategic acquisition marks a major milestone, elevating Xin Tianwai's technical capabilities and equipment standards to the forefront of the offset printing industry, and achieving a leap in both production capacity and product quality.
Heidelberg Speedmaster CX104 10-Color Sheetfed Offset Printing Press
The newly introduced Heidelberg Speedmaster CX104 integrates 10-color offset printing, two flexographic printing units, and dual dryer units into a highly streamlined production line. This advanced configuration transforms complex, multi-pass printing processes into a highly efficient "single-pass, one-time formation" workflow. Since its deployment, the equipment has significantly reduced material waste during transitions between printing processes and markedly boosted production efficiency. More importantly, it fundamentally ensures precise print registration, resulting in a qualitative leap in color reproduction and overall product texture.
Currently, the press is successfully deployed in the production of several premium cigarette brands, including "Septwolves" (Gutian Gold Slims) and "Liqun" (Leisure Slims, Soft Long Filter, and Louwailou). Operational data demonstrates its outstanding performance in both production efficiency and finished product quality, fully meeting the stringent requirements for print precision and batch consistency in high-end tobacco packaging. Leveraging its robust process adaptability, the company plans to gradually expand the equipment's application to a broader range of mid-to-high-end cigarette labels and high value-added packaging products, further enriching its product portfolio.
This major capital investment will directly increase Xin Tianwai's annual production capacity by 300,000 large cases. With this addition, the company's combined offset and gravure printing lines will reach an annual capacity of 1.4 million large cases for cigarette labels. This milestone not only provides core equipment support for deepening technological innovation and driving process upgrades but also lays a solid foundation for expanding into high-end markets and enhancing the company's brand influence and market share.
