Recently, the Premium Packaging Center of Xintianwai announced a significant milestone: in November, the company’s premium production line achieved a substantial capacity boost, reaching a monthly output of nearly 10,000 cases. Furthermore, Xintianwai has secured a top-tier position in quality rankings among the four suppliers of Anhui China Tobacco’s Wuhu Cigarette Factory for its “Huishang New Concept” product.
Since the official launch of the premium line project in the first half of 2024, the initiative has progressed smoothly through rigorous feasibility studies, comprehensive staff training, strategic equipment layout, and electrical installation. The line commenced operations and reached a monthly output of 4,000 cases by October 2024. In early 2025, the company introduced two additional intelligent production lines for cigarette label cartons. This expansion has driven consistent month-on-month growth, culminating in a comprehensive monthly capacity exceeding 10,000 cases in November.

To ensure the steady advancement of the project, Xintianwai has implemented a series of strategic measures:
First, prioritizing innovation to enhance competitiveness. The company has strengthened collaboration with equipment manufacturers to upgrade and retrofit automated machinery while intensifying in-house R&D to boost production efficiency. It is actively exploring new manufacturing processes, introducing novel materials, and optimizing workflow procedures. Additionally, Xintianwai is advancing its digital factory initiatives by using premium packaging as a starting point and leveraging MES and WMS systems to build an intelligent, digitalized production model.
Second, emphasizing quality-first principles by establishing a robust quality management system. The company has refined its quality management protocols and complaint-handling procedures to embed the concept of “premium products” across the organization. A joint internal quality system, developed by the project team, the technical center, and the quality department, now mandates a first-article inspection system for semi-finished products during process transfers, thereby reinforcing quality safeguards.
Third, strengthening internal management to unify team efforts. Xintianwai has aligned team mindsets to foster upward momentum and implemented a project responsibility system to clearly define tasks, assign accountability, and set precise timelines. Furthermore, through statistical analysis and continuous improvement of equipment failures, the company has successfully reduced the frequency of malfunctions and shortened troubleshooting times.
Fourth, enhancing professional training to build an expert workforce. Employees are encouraged to “step out” to broaden their horizons and learn advanced management practices. The company emphasizes cultivating talent through hands-on experience by offering specialized courses in project management and technical skills. Maintenance personnel are also required to gain an in-depth understanding of equipment operating principles, component life cycles, and operator skill sets to elevate overall maintenance capabilities.
Fifth, adhering to a people-oriented approach with stringent safety management. By signing safety responsibility agreements, clearly defining accountability scopes, and launching targeted campaigns to eliminate safety hazards, the company has deeply ingrained safety awareness and integrated it into every stage of the production process.
Capitalizing on this milestone, Xintianwai will continue to actively explore the path of digital factory construction. The company aims to transform traditional production models, significantly enhance production efficiency and product competitiveness, and lay a solid foundation for its high-quality development.
